Supporting Tenants for a Positive Rental Experience

We believe in building long-lasting, healthy relationships with tenants who engage in open communication, set fair expectations for themselves and their landlords, and uphold their commitments. By working together, we create a smooth and enjoyable tenancy for all.

Key information

At Vista Abode, we aim to make renting simple and transparent. To apply for a property, tenants will need to provide personal, employment, and financial details, along with references and proof of income.

All applicants undergo standard referencing and credit checks. Once approved, tenants have the right to live in a safe, well-maintained home and to enjoy quiet enjoyment of the property. In return, tenants are responsible for paying rent on time, looking after the property, and reporting any maintenance issues promptly. We’re here to support you throughout your tenancy and ensure a smooth, respectful renting experience.

Documents you need to rent

Before we can confirm your tenancy, Vista Abode partners with an external referencing agency to assess affordability and suitability. A standard credit check will also be completed as part of your application.

Required Documents

To help the process run smoothly, please be ready to provide:

  • Photographic ID
Such as a valid passport or driving licence.
  • Proof of Income & Affordability
Recent bank statements and payslips to verify your financial position.
  • Right to Rent Share Code (for non-UK nationals)
A code issued by the Home Office confirming your eligibility to rent in the UK.
  • Previous Address History
A record of your current and previous addresses to support referencing checks.

Once everything’s submitted, we’ll work swiftly to give you an update on your application status.
